The Perfect Jungle Lodge: Where does one start to describe Svasara. The staff were superb really kind and efficient. Cool flannels and a drink waiting when you return from safari. Then over to the main room for tea and if you wish, talk to the other guests of their experiences. The rooms were of a good size and very clean. The food changed each night themed on a particular area in India. However if you wish you can have westernised food, because my wife does not like hot spicey they produced a specially toned down version of the dish. The safaris were well arranged and could be close or a distance away as you wished. The Naturalists are excellent and between them have an excellent knowledge. We left on the last day at 6 pm to go to Nagpur to take the overnight train onward and we were given a packed dinner for the train. Just go let them know what you wish to do at the lodge and they will arrange a programme. You will be treated as an individual and not part of a group. Words cannot explain how lovely this place is — just go and find out for yourself.
